glyFX takes the privacy and security of our visitors very seriously. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. These privacy and security policies have been formulated to comply with the recommendations on the Australian Privacy Commissioner's Website.
Our server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes - the user's server address, the user's top level domain name (eg. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.), the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the server's logs.
The internet is inherently insecure, however steps can be taken to minimise the risk of your personal details being intercepted. Our order form uses a 128 bit secure certificate, to ensure that the details you provide are encrypted during transmission to the server. This secure certificate is registered to PerthWeb Pty Ltd, the parent company of glyFX.
When you place an order online, your credit card details are securely transmitted to Camtech, our online credit card processing provider. Once processed, your credit card number is discarded - it is not stored at any time by either glyFX or Camtech.
Should you prefer not to transmit your sensitive data such as credit card numbers over the internet, we are happy for you to fax your order to us. Details are provided on the order form.
If you provide your credit card details to us for manual processing, by fax, telephone or email, we destroy all record of your credit card number once processing is complete. Your name, company, and email address are kept for our accounting purposes.
We use the information you provide about yourself to provide services. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request for our services.
If you choose to subscribe to any mailing lists provided by glyFX, your name and email address will be requested. This information is stored on our system and is only accessible by approved glyFX staff. An unsubscribe facility is enabled with any broadcast email correspondence. We will not use your email address for any other purpose, and will not disclose or sell it, without your consent. You can withdraw permission for us to contact you at any time by emailing us at info@glyfx.com.
If you would like to contact a glyFX representative concerning our Privacy Policy, you may do so by emailing info@glyfx.com.
